Let's talk about the top RV trends for 2025. My name's Patti Hunt and you're listening to the RV Life Podcast. Last week, I attended the Florida RV Super Show and spoke to so many vendors. It was great getting out and seeing so many new products and services and some products and services that I already knew about, but they are making changes and improvements. This week I was trying to figure out when it is ideal to make campground reservations for the spring and summer, and most of what I read said late fall, early winter, is the time to make those campground reservations. Well, here we are in early winter I guess it is, even though it feels so cold and I just want it to be over. But bottom line is now is the time to start making those reservations. This, in my podcast, is usually where I edify my guests, and today I have many guests on, and they are vendors that were at the Florida RV show. So I went around the RV show and found products and services that I have used, as well as some new products that I think are great, and I'm going to share those products and services with you. The RV skirting goes around the perimeter of your RV to prevent warm air from escaping. It protects your pipes from freezing and causing damage and it saves on heating costs. Hi folks, for every RVer that is using propane, this is going to be a very interesting little video. My name is Martin Niezen, I'm from Groningen in the Netherlands up north that's farmers land and I'm going to show you how GasStop works. So if you have a GasStop, you put a GasStop on your tank and as soon as you have a major leak, gasstop will shut off 100%. You also can do a minor leak test with gas stop and I'm going to show you. Right now, gas stop is on your tank and you need to open your tank and you need to prime the gas stop and you are going to see it's going to be pressurized. That's the moment that you know everything goes into your system. As soon as you have a major leak and I'm going to show it by creating a major leak Three, two, one it 100% shuts off instantly.

Speaker 2:

So we couldn't make the gas stop for a shutting off at a minor leak, because otherwise you couldn't use gas. So what we have done, we created this pressure gates on top of the gas stop and I do the same setup I open the cylinder, I need to prime the gas up. I can see it's pressurized again. Now what I do? Quite simple. I close the cylinder again and I'm actually trapping the gas into your system. If you have a minor leak, you can see. If you come back after 10 minutes and that needle has dropped and I will show you here. You know you have something going on. You have a minor leak. Great peace of mind to fix that problem and make sure you are safe on the road okay, chuck, lastly lastly lastly yes.

Speaker 1:

Chuck. Lastly, you just told me, and I best that's all right, no problem and tell us your title at National Indoor RV Center.

Speaker 3:

So director of events and aftermarket products? Okay, yeah.

Speaker 1:

So let's talk about two aftermarket products. That I think is incredible.

Speaker 3:

Let's start with Protang. Okay, so Protang is a fire suppression system for the entire RV, not just for the engine compartment. So we can put a device in and next to the generator, right next to the inverter, right in the engine compartment, like we talked about before, so we can stop the fire before it spreads to anywhere else inside the coach all right, so now let's talk about retroband sure when it comes to being in a class a one, one of the biggest, most catastrophic type problems is a blowout on one of your front tires.

Speaker 1:

We've all seen it, we've heard about it. It is not pretty, and I've talked to Brett Davis about Retroband. Can you explain what that is, how it works?

Speaker 3:

Yeah, so we have an example of it right here. So Retroband is a run flat system. It is kind of a spare within your tire. So imagine your tire right over top that retro band device, and the aim of that is twofold. One is to keep control of the tire excuse me, not the tire, but of the coach. The other is to minimize the damage after the tire failure happens or after the blowout happens, and so we're able to accomplish both of those things with the Retro-Band run flat device.

Speaker 1:

And these are two incredible safety products that I highly recommend, and you'll be hearing more about these products in the coming weeks when we do an interview, a full interview on both of these products.

It's really seamless and it is absolutely seamless.

If you have a tow that you're going to pull, if you want to jump in a rental car, if you want to put it on your motorcycle, you can move it from vehicle to vehicle. You don't have a million different toll transponder transactions coming from Ohio or Texas or Oklahoma or Florida. It Actions coming from Ohio or Texas or Oklahoma or Florida. It's one place. You can look at it in the app. When it gets low, it just automatically pre-funds and so you don't have to worry about mail-ins or paying bills online. All one place, all 48 states right, yes, all 48 states.

I've been using the Toll Pass for over a year and they are amazing, because that's the only people I interview is companies that are amazing. Thank you so much, courtney. No problem, patty, I am here with Whitney from RV Glass Masters and I got to tell you I'm getting ready to sell the RV. As most people know, somebody went into the RV, I had a tech go into the RV and the window was separated. The front windshield was separated from the RV, something you never want to see. So the repairman suggested you guys, I called, I spoke to Whitney and I just knew I could trust her. So tell us a little bit about RV Glass Masters.

So we are 100% mobile service. We service windshields, side glass, foggy windows. We're able to custom cut glass on location, put in windshields, fix windshields, reseal, reset. Anything to do with glass we can do there you go, and that's what they did.

So everywhere we go, we collect a sticker. And we bought a camper and I wanted to put stickers on my airstream. My husband was like no, and so he created what we call the adventure board. It's just a way for your family to collect your memories. So you go somewhere, you do something fun, you collect a sticker, you put on your adventure board, and the cool part is that it just velcro command strips to your door or your wall or wherever you want to put it, or your house, and that way you take it with you if you upgrade your rig and you don't lose all your stickers.

So, and I'm just gonna say they come in four different designs black or white and they will ship them anywhere for free and they'll customize it for you. So just let me add that on.

I'm here in the RecPro booth and I wanted to show my listeners and have my listeners hear about first of all they have amazing furniture. About first of all they have amazing furniture. All of them are made from recycled materials. They're lightweight, very beautiful patterns, unique patterns you won't find anywhere else because we designed them ourselves. A nice thing about that you get tired of one side, you can flip it to the other. They all come with carrying bags as well.

Something else a lot of people know about us is our dishes. We have really lightweight, microwavable dishes. They're non-toxic, like the melamine ones that sometimes are mixed with bamboo. Ours are mixed with a wheat straw to kind of make it eco-friendly and keep it very lightweight. We also have started actually expanding our line a little bit with some custom items. We're now sort of creating beautiful wooden items. We had, you know, ornaments during Christmas time, but we also have, you know, cutting boards or cheese boards or anything that you want. If you have a family motto or logo or anything like that, we can put it on anything. So you can always reach out to us through our email or website and we can get you a quote on anything you might want.

This is great for those content creators, influencers you can put your logo on the board. I'm assuming I'm just, I'm just like giving them work to do.

Speaker 8:

I didn't ask that before, but yes, and I love these.

I used to have the what's it called?

Oh yeah, the melamine is the other kind.

I used to use them in the microwave and I did a video and I had one of the people that watched it say you cannot use them in the microwave.
